CANARY ISLANDS on the 21 cabin M/Y HARMONY V NOV. 2016 – APRIL 2017 CRUISE.

Embarks / Disembarks:  South Tenerife to South Tenerife.

La Gomera Island, the second smallest island of the Archipelago, a circular island with volcanic origin with its 1,500 high peak in the center was Christopher Columbus last stop before crossing the ocean on his way to the Americas. Tenerife with its laurel forests dating from the tertiary period, the Giant Cliff rock formation and the Cave of wind, a lava tube which is 17 km long, a journey into the earth. The impressive Volcanoes route in La Palma and the Caldera del Tuburiente National Park. The white washed houses of Yiaza and the National Park of Timanfaya-also known as Mountains of fire – and the wineries producing the white Malavasia Ines in Lanzarote.

 

 

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive meet and greet by our representative, transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 2: Transfer from the hotel to board the ship M/S HARMONY V and depart from Los Cristiano’s Port – Los Cristiano’s is a town in Spain, situated on the south coast of the Canary Island of Tenerife. Located in the municipality of Arona between the cone of the mountain Chayofita and the greater mountain Guaza. The town center is around the Los Cristiano’s bay, but is rapidly expanding inland with modern development. The town is a popular tourist resort and includes a ferry port

 

Day 3: Proceed from Los Cristiano’s to Santa Cruz de la Palma which is a city and a municipality in the eastern part of the island of La Palma in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the Canary Islands. It is situated on the east coast. Santa Cruz de La Palma is a beautiful city with a colonial air which retains in its historic quarter, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, numerous palaces, colonial buildings and houses built in the traditional Canary style. The enormously varied landscape housed by what is known as the “pretty island”.

 

Day 4: Explore Valle Gran Rey situated in the western part of the island La Gomera, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the Canary Islands, Spain. Valle Gran Rey has become the main tourist resort of La Gomera. The beauty of its landscapes, punctuated by countless palm trees, makes the town a mix of neighborhoods of whitewashed houses that contrast with the greenery of its landscapes. The biggest attractions of the municipality are undoubtedly its beaches.

 

Day 5: Travel to Santa Cruz de Tenerife which commonly known as Santa Cruz. It is a city and capital of the Canary Islands, the capital of Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the island of Tenerife. It’s a beautiful port situated in Tenerife, the largest of the western islands in the Canary archipelago. Around its important port are wide avenues, squares and exotic landscapes areas, not forgetting some beautiful examples of modernist architecture. Best known for Carnivals & beautiful beaches.

 

Day 6: Proceed to Marina Rubicon (Playa Blanca) – LANZAROTE, it’s a unique setting, in the south of Lanzarote, between the natural monument of los Ajaches and Playa Blanca. In this magnificent setting, in the heart of the tourist center of Playa Blanca and enjoying the temperate climate of the area. Marina Rubicon has since 2003 complemented and improved its facilities to become a sport, commercial and leisure center of the very highest level accessible to everyone.

 

Day 7: Explore Corralejo Port – FUERTEVENTURA ISLAND. A busy ferry port at the northern extremity of Fuerteventura, popular with tourists and known for its excellent windsurfing and kitesurfing. The main attraction for the tourists is the natural park area Las Dunas. This is a large sweeping expanse of sand providing some of the best beaches in the world.

 

Day 8: Proceed to Las Palmas the capital of Gran Canaria, one of Spain’s Canary Islands off northwestern Africa. A major cruise-ship port, the city is known for duty-free shopping and for its sandy beaches. At Playa de las Canteras, a coral barrier lines and beach and shelters swimmers. The annual La Palmas de Gran Canaria carnival brings together flamboyantly costumed performers, music and dancing.

 

Day 9 & Day 10: After exploring & enjoying the above places & islands disembark at Los Cristiano’s Port – South TENERIFE from there on transfer to the hotel, leisure for shopping and overnight at the hotel. Next day check out and proceed to the airport for the final destination.
